The Monarch Service Unit of the Austin, Cedar Park and Leander area in Texas welcomes you to the world of Girl Scouting.   Our job is to help you have a fun and fulfilling time as a Girl Scout Leader.  These web pages are here to answer some common questions and inspire you to do more as a Girl Scout Leader.

The Monarch Service Unit consists of troops from the following Leander ISD schools: Blockhouse Elementary, Cox Elementary, Ronald Reagan Elementary, Rutledge Elementary, Pleasant Hill Elementary, Parkside Elementary, Henry Middle School, Wiley Middle School,  Rouse High School and Vista Ridge High School.

The Service Unit provides support and advice to troops as well as organizes many activities throughout the year.  One adult from each troop attends the monthly Service Unit meeting (the fourth Tuesday of each month, 7:00 - 8:30 p.m., August - May, at the United Methodist Church in Cedar Park) to receive information from Council, find out about upcoming events, and to exchange ideas with other leaders.
